LAX

Well, it;s back to Hawaii.

Sent a bunch of stuff I bought shopping back to St Peters. It was getting hard lugging it around and I wasn;t going to do it for another 3 weeks!

Stuck in Hawaii

Well, we are stuck in Hawaii for a day or two extra. We were suposed to leave this afternoon for LA, but the airplane is still in LA with a broken cargo door. So, here we sit at the beach waiting for an airplane to show. Probably won't happen until Monday, Sunday at the earliest, is my guess.

Oh well, I guess we will just have to stick it out.....

Not much for today....

Long nite last nite. HNL - LAX - HNL in about 16 hours.

Hot here today in Honolulu. First Officer wants me to go surfing with him this afternoon....

Still deciding, so If you don't here from me for a few days, then you know that I didn't survive... LOL.....

Vacation over....time to fly...

This is the palm tree that sways outside my hotel room here in Hawaii.

Leave this afternoon for LAX (Los Angles). Stay for about 4 hours and return to Honolulu.

Makes for a long day, but well worth it.

Waikki Beach

Went to the beach today. Just outside the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.

Had a hard time reading my Harry Potter book. LOL....

Shopping

Went this morning to the International Market place. Bought some beach towels for the three youngest grandchildren.

Also, you can't swing a dead cat around here with out hitting a Starbucks! One on every corner! And always someone at the counter ordering.

Got to go back later this week to get Westley something. He already has a beach towel.

HAWAII !!!!!!!!

Got here at 5:00am local time this morning.
It is 9:30 am now. Took a short pick me up nap. Don't want to waste too much sun, sand, or fun sleeping.

Honolulu or BUST

Well we leave for Hawaii in about 7 hours. It is a 6 hour flight from LAX. Tried to get Susan a flight to come out and be with me, but prices are just too high right now. Might try again tomorrow.

She can't leave until Monday. Natalie is with Scott for the weekend.

Sitting reserve in LAX

Here are some pictures of the Hotel we stay at in Los Angles. It is called the Hacendia. It is just south of the airport about a mile away.

Gas here is $3.23 for unleaded! OUCH!!!!

Nothing much today. Just went down to Micky D's for lunch. Now just waiting for dinner. Then later off to bed. Then the same tomorrow.

Time to go to work

Well it is time to go to work. Leaving this afternoon for LA.

Then fly LA to Honolulu on Saturday morning.

GOD, it's a tough life, but someone has to do it.

This is a picture of Bradley with 3 of his 5 girlfriends! I took Shannon's kids to a family church camp last month. We all had a good time. Especially Brad. The lady on the far left is the mother of the girl on the far right. The other girl is Westley's age. But needless to say they are ALL older than Brad. Must take after his Poppie!

At home

Just called scheduling. I will probably travel on Tuesday to start work for the rest of the month.

My line of flying this month is Los Angles (LAX) to Honolulu, Hawaii (HNL). But with scheduling dept you never know.
