Los Angles

Yesterday we went to the Farmers Market. Bought some things and ate lunch there. Then we drove to Venice Beach, Manhattan Beach (first photo) and then we stumbled upon a Lighthouse on the coast just up from Long Beach. The lady said that it hasn't been a functional lighthouse since just after WWII.

Going Back to Disneyland and California Adventure today. Right now the rain has stopped and the sun is trying to shine through.

Disneyland

We had been planning a trip to Disneyland prior to my foot surgery. So, thank goodness the foot was healed enough to go. I had to rent an electric cart as to not slow the healing process.

We met with some friends of ours who live about 10 miles from Disneyland. Gary and Mary were nice enough to go with us and guide us around both Disneyland and California Adventure. It had been 20 years since we have been there.

Because of the changing weather we don't know what we are going to do today yet. But we plan on going back to both parks Sunday. We return home on Monday. We will post more pictures later.

Los Angles

Susan and I are leaving for Los Angles Thursday. We are visiting some friends and going to Disneyland. Going to have to get a motorized cart at Disneyland to get around. LOL...

We tried to get tickets to the Jay Leno Show, but my source can't deliver because his source is involved in the writers strike.

We return to St Louis next Monday.

Good thing we are leaving. It is getting colder here and going to get even colder by Thursday.

Weekend news

We had Scott's little girl Natalie this weekend. And since we were in Kansas City last weekend, on my birthday, Susan and Natalie baked me a birthday cake Saturday. I have a new digital camcorder/camera. I have a video but still trying to figure out how to post it here.

We thing Natalie is going to be a cook.

she wanted to know everything that was going on. What everything was called and why we were doing it that way. They also made Valentine cookies on Sunday. She likes to cook.

By the way the cake is delicious! Thanks Susan and Natalie.

Foot still on the mend.

It had been bitter cold here and they are talking about snow tonight.

We have been having a fire in the fireplace the last 4 days.

Results of doctors appt.

All went well at the doctors office this morning. He was really surprised at my progress.

He was in the exam room for only about 5 minutes. Next appointment is on Valentines Day.

Still will be off work at least until the 15th of February.
