Doctor appointment

I go to the doctor tomorrow to get a check up on my foot and toe. Bought a pair of Croc's today. Still can't get into any shoes. Susan talked me into getting the Croc's. She said it would be easy to get my foot int o better. And she was right.

Got a black pair. My foot was actually hurting me wearing the "funny looking" shoe they give you to wear after surgery.

I will update tomorrow after we get back from the doctor.

Also, I have a couple of special announcements coming in the next couple of days.

Foot healing nicely...

My foot is healing very nicely. Still sore and still can not get a regular shoe on yet, but maybe by the end of the week.

We had a good time in Kansas City this last weekend. The baby shower Susan attended was a success. Especially when Macy showed up with her mother Stephanie. Macy is one third of a set of triplets. The only girl ( two brothers). Evidently, she was very well behaved (Step thanks God for that...LOL...) and very entertaining for the mom to be, Kayla, and all the other ladies.

Not much else happening for now.

House Cleaning

Okay, Okay, Okay...

Shannon and Bradley came over Wednesday morning and Shannon cleaned the kitchen, living room, and entryway. And did an excellent job.

Bradley watched "Happy Feet", ate raisins, and "read" some books.

Susan and I went to her house this morning to drop off somethings and see the small statue we bought for Frank (her husband) as a memorial for their dog Cleo, who died about 6 weeks ago.

Susan asked Bradley (4 yrs) if he took and ate some raisins while he was at our house. And without any hesitation or break in his voice said, "No Westley did". LOL... All three of us adults started laughing. You see, first of all, we KNOW for a fact that Bradley ate the raisins, because Westley was at school that day and no where near our house. LOL.... Poor Westley...

Going to Kansas City this weekend. Will post again Monday.

Update

Still in recovery. Toe still sore and incision is starting to heal.

Weather has turned cold again. Not much happening. Kind of boring. Yada, yada, yada.....

Toe sore today

Got up this morning with the end of my toe hurting. Come to think of it, I did stub it slightly yesterday and Natalie accidental stepped on it Saturday (not her fault). So I guess I will just have to be more careful and a little more protective.

Just got about all the Christmas decorations but back up in the attic.

We are having a January thaw the last couple of days. 75F yesterday and in the 70's again today. Streets look like it has just rained, but no water on the houses or cars. So, it's just the warm weather thawing the ground.

Will report back tomorrow.

X-RAYS

Got my X-RAYs yesterday of my foot and tried to poet them, but haven't figured it out yet. Will keep working on it in the nexr couple of days.

We have been taking down the Christmas decorations today. Well I should say Susan has been doing the MAJORITORY of the work. Can't stand too long on my foot yet.

Also, yesterday I got my tempoary handicap parking permit. When we were out running some errends today it came in real handy. LOL.... It is good until the 3rd of March.

Not much happening other than that. Will try and not let so many days lapse between posts.

Foot is getting better each day, but still hurts.

Today is clean up the house day and pay the bills day. Had to drive to the county court house last night to pay our personal property taxes for 2007.
